    bro cant do pullup

    alright my bro just started doing MMA and started lifting with me. the workout i do incoroporate pullups 1 a week. bu my bro cant do any.i have hkm do assisted pullups instead. the wrokout says to do 3x15 so i have him do 3sets of 15 with me holding his feeet. is dis fine or should i have him do 3x15 3x a week until he is able to do them with no help?

    Isn't this the brother that has a coagulation (bleeding) disorder? Getting punched and kicked in the face doesn't seem like a smart idea for a person with such a condition.

    As far as pull ups, have him jump up and pull himself up then fight the negative all the way down, or assist him and let him fight the negative. Try lat pulldowns if they are available. Like someone else has mentioned before, he'll get stronger, the key is consistency.

    There was lots of pullup/chinup advice in your other thread about pullups/chinups, except you were asking for yourself rather than your bro.

    The same advice applys. Negatives, assisted reps, small sets (1-2 reps), vary grips and hand positions...
