    Hypertrophy Science Revisited

Check this out. It will take you about an hour to read the book and 90% of it is uncoloured, serious science, so feel free to pass on this one, if you're not interested in science.

What do you think of his program and the justification for it?

Personally, I think it's very interesting. Mr.Moore is definitely a smart fella.

The most interesting notion is probably that the sets don't consist of continuous repping. It looks a lot like cluster sets, but the load is lighter and the rest intervals (M-time) vary. Also, hypertrophy is the goal as opposed to strength.

I'm going to look into this further tomorrow. Right now I have at least one issue with his method: The weight increases, but so does the M-time. This seems more like a way to enhance strength. Very high frequency of movement, increase of load, increase of rest. Will the adaptions made be biochemical instead of neurlogical? I'm sceptical.

I still think I'm going to try this, even if it's just for the sake of variation. It's totally unlike anything I've ever done before. If I'm not too lazy, I'll keep a log here at IM. I'll notify you of my findings. If anyone else intends to try out this program, please let me know. It would be cool to share our experiences on this.
