6 Pack Abs

Hello, i am 14, (in shape) and i have been doing 125 situps everyday for about 1 month now. if i keep that up how much longer will it take me to get my 6 pack?

Wow, forgot how naive you are at that age.



Im 20. 6'3'' 235 lbs. Want to get to 8% body fat, +315 bench, +500 squat, and reach a weight between 230-240.

you can work on abs all you want but with out the right diet and cardio to get your bodyfat down you'll never see them!

also situps not really the best way to go for a six pack try crunches, hanging knee raises, crunches on a ball, do some exercises for your obliques like side bends and a good diet plenty of cardio will help alot you may not want to train abs every day some people can some cant i would try giving them some time to heal muscle is built on your days out of the gym when the muscle fibers are healing.

IIRC sit-ups are more of a hip flexors/extensors movement than an ab movement. Not sure if that's correct.

IMO: you're 14 years old. Do body weight exercises and hit your entire core instead of just worrying about your abs. You'll thank yourself for strengthening your core.
