    cardio and/or weight training??

Hi, I'm 5 feet 10 inches. I was overweight when I first started my diet and cardio session. I was at 207 lb. Through diet and cardio, I've reduced my weight to 162 lbs. My goal is to get a six pack and cut body, however I'm having trouble deciding which way I should go from here. People already tell me I'm skinny, but to receive a six pack, I know my body fat has to be lower than 10 percent. So my question is that should I start doing weights right now and do cardio as well. Or, should I just do cardio till my body fat percentage is low enough to see my six pack and then hit the weights.

This is a question for people who have a six pack and are my height. How much do you weigh?

why the hell aren't you lifting weights right now? Your efforts to lose bodyfat have been very good, but your methods are not optimal.

There is no reason not to be lifting weights dude, it will help you immensely. If your diet is in check, I honestly think weight lifting gives far more benefits.

Remember, there are actually two ways to lose BF %. Lose bodyfat is the first, the second is to increase muscle mass while BF stays constant. As someone new to working out that's what happens a lot of the time, which is why you can see some pretty dramatic results in a short period of time as a newbie.

No gym for home, work out floor with 30, but is it for 20 like 30 lb when you no lift it to be for men, for 30 lbs instead? or half is 10 for 20 pounds?

Ok, well should i do high reps and low weights first?

I found this free weight training program called Max-OT workout and they basically do 4-6 reps per set on any workout.

So what I have decided is to do cardio in the morning and then do weights in the evening. How does that sound?

You want to lift heavier weights while on a cut to retain as much muscle as possible. But since you are starting out, I would suggest you start light until your muscles are used to the damage. Then increase the weight and lower the reps.

Cardio in the morning and weights in the evening sounds like a good plan to me. Just make sure you give yourself some time to rest during the week.

If youve never done weights before start relatively light and learn good form. Get a good basis in general lifting.

Id stay away from any advanced programs for now, and just concentrate on a basic fullbody lifting program.

Read Cowpimp's threads on designing training programs (top of the list in training forum) for info on how to do this.

Also, well done, youve made awesome progress - but things can only get better from adding a good weights program to the mix.

What type of cardio would you recommend? I want to loose that excess belly fat. I know you cant concentrate just one specific spot of body fat to loose but in the morning what would be a good cardio workout.

Personally, I think biking is the easiest type of cardio to start with. You can work in some HIIT on the bike very easily as well. That will really help burn fat.

I do a lot of cardio and swimming is my absolute favorite.
