which routine is better?
Hey guys I was wondering which routine is better for muscle building and some strength improvement. When I lift I do 3-4 sets with 8-10 reps (the weight isnt too light where i can do more than 10 but not too heavy where i cant do less than 8).These are the two routines i have planned out:
Monday - Back and Biceps + Cardio Tuesday - Abdominals + Cardio Wednesday - Chest and Triceps + Cardio Thursday - Abdominals + Cardio Friday - Legs + Cardio Saturday - Abdominals + Cardio Sunday - Cardio (obviously like cardio) OR Monday - Back and Biceps and Legs+ Cardio Tuesday- Chest and Triceps + Cardio Wednesday- Abdominals + Cardio Thursday- Back and Biceps and Legs + Cardio Friday- Chest and Triceps + Cardio Saturday- Abdominals + Cardio Sunday - Cardio Which is better for muscle building? Thanks! |

Define your goals and then select a desing a program which focuses on the training effect you are looking for.
What you have is not a program, as much as it is just a group of body parts written on a page with the word "cardio" written after them. Put more thought into what you are trying to do if you want to achieve your goals. |

Not sure why on earth you would want to do cardio 7 times a week, thats just very silly.

Even with the limited info youve posted they both suck.
- Why CV 7 days a week? - Why do you have NO rest days? Its impossible to tell anything about them because there isnt nearly enough info there to judge. Do you work off that info when you're figuring out what to do in the gym on any given day? |

All that cardio is going to thwart muscle gains.

Its already been said, but seriously, 7 days of cardio a week as well as weight training? I dont see that lasting more than 3 weeks... u need an off day. And posting your goals wont hurt either.
