Update on my progress/ results
BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com Hey folks, I love this forum and have learned so much since I joined. I have been like a sponge absorbing the knowledge as best as I can and putting it to practical use. Some of it works and some don't. I just keep trying until I find something that works for me.
In 12 months, to date, my results are: Maintained my weight at 200 lbs., but have lowered my BF from 27% to 22% while getting significantly stronger. (bench has gone from 135 to 225). I have adapted to a variable rep range approach to my weightlifting approach and it really seems to work for me. Two months ago I added cardio 4 -5 times a week (30 to 45 minutes) and have really focused on a clean diet. I had a physical yesterday and I learned that my blood pressure has dropped from 135 over 95 to 122 over 80. This is awesome since high blood pressure runs rampant in my family. (I will be 52 next week). I also learned that my testosterone level is really low - this is good news, since my doctor will be prescribing a testosterone jell and this should help me with additional muscle mass growth and BF loss, I hope. Now the bad news -they found higher than normal blood in my urine and I am going in for additional tests......Wish me luck. |

Sorry about the bad news, hope it's nothing too serious. Asides from that well done! I agree with changing the rep-range around a bit.
Kinda ironic to hear you're pleases as low test', but as you say that's as good an excuse as any! Don't worry about being grumpy or anything, testosterone is actually calming, it's a lack of it that makes people aggressive! Again well done B. |
