    close grip bench

    when i do this i bend my wrists back so my arms stay in close to my body

    is this necessary or can i let my arms bend out it puts alot of stress on my wrists the way i do it which i guess could be good unless its bad with so much weight

    if it's hurting your wrists too much, you can try switching to a cambered bar.
    Ya might also wanna drop the weight a little

    You're using arms and wrists as synonyms. I have no idea what you're asking at the moment.

    pain = bad
    bending wrists = bad
    flaring elbows out = bad
    arms close = good

    What does bending your wrists back have to do with keeping your arms close to your body? You should be able to keep a neutral wrist position while you benc regardless of the positioning of your shoulder joints.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

    i think i just bend my wrists back all the time even with regular bench i just noticed cause its easier to hold the bar...and to answer your question pimp i have no clue..i got it straightened out tho
