i palyedyea, football training was similar.. but they are 2 totally different beasts. there is a lot more running in rugby, kinda like soccer, but physical. where football is short plays, with short rests.. but you are constantly going 110% when in motion.
so you will need to work on cardio and conditioning more than anything imo
