bad back need help w/ training
I have back problems (4 bulgded disc's) and am looking for a new routine. i have been traing for about 11 years. for the past few years i have been doing the 5x5. lately i have been trying the 15 rep by 3 set routine. i mix the weight up to try to get the best benies but it just isn't working for me
. i want to cut some weight so i am really focusing on my diet and abs. my past split has been as follows:Monday: Inclin db press 5x5 declin db press 5x5 flat db press 5x5 pec deck 2x20 flatbench 225 for 2 set to failure (atleast 20 reps) 2 sets tri push downs to fail. abs and 15 min on the elipt. Tuesday: pullups 4 sets to fail. t-bar pulls 5x5 1 arm rows 5x5 reverse pec deck 3x20 lying straight bar cable curls 3 seys to fail. abs and 15 min on the elipt. Wednesday: seated db press 5x5 arnold press 3x5 smith maching press 3x5 barbell shrugs super setted w/ db shrugs 5x5 each standing row 5x5 side lat. raises 3x10 2 sets tri push downs to fail. abs and 15 min on the elipt.. Thursday: Cannot squat b/c of back lunges 5x5 leg press 5x5 leg extensions 5x5 curls 5x5 Straight leg d/l 5x5 lying straight bar cable curls 3 seys to fail. abs and 15 min on the elipt. Friday: Everything is superset Skull crushers and incline db curls 5x5 dips and straight bar curls 5x5 lying straight bar push downs run the rack lying rope curls run the rack |
