circuit training advice

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS
High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com
I'm considering putting my regular training on hold for the next couple of months to do some circuit training to boost my conditioning ( a recent event made me realize it needs work) My question is would it be better to do a full body circuit or an upper/lower split or continue to do the push/pull/legs split i'm currently doing and use tri or giant sets for each body part before moving on to the next one?
any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated

depends on goals and what the rest of your training for the week looks like (cardio, etc.)

Hi P-funk, my goals for right now are to boost my cardio for a pt test for law enforcement that consists of a persuit/restraint obsticle course and a timed 20 meter shuttle run, I'm doing cardio on a treadmill (here at home) 4-5 times per week usually 25 minute sesssions that are either intervals or i'll start at 5mph and increase speed by half a mph each minute for as long as i can go to mimmick the pace of the shuttle run.
I weight train 4 days per week and I do a three day push/pull/legs split. Usually 6 sets per body part and reps between 6-12. I typically take longer rest periods probably in the 2-3 minute range. I'm looking at switching to some circuit type training to help with my conditioning. I have a couple of months to get ready for my re-tests and thought this would be the way to go.
