Cutting routine that'll maintain my muscle?
BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com I'm almost finished bulking while doing bill starrs 5x5. I was wondering, when I start cutting, what should I look for when I build a cutting routine? I've never cut in my life, so I'm a bit unsure as far as this is concerned.
I want to maintain as much muscle as possible, do I go for the same kind of volume that I was doing during my bulk? Would I up the frequency of workouts per day? |

there really is not set routine to use to cut. since strength seems to go out the door on a cut, you might want to incorporate some strength training. but the key thing would be to have the proper diet so that the muscle you've put on, stays there.

I was thinking of deloading and doing the starr routine a little longer...which is basically 5x5, anybody ever do bill starrs 5x5 on a cut?

This is what has worked well for me and might do the same for you.
Keep the overall workout the same. Few changes. First thing in the AM have some BCAAs you can get brand name of you can get bulk for pretty cheap. I have some caffeine in the form of coffee and some ephedrine. Half and hour later low grade cardio meaning quick walking, walking on a treadmill with the elevation up or pushing my lawn mower Do that for an hour Some more BCAAs 1/2 hour later protein shake with some oat meal. For me just those changes really help trim the fat but keeps the muscle within a few weeks. If you give it a try let me know how it worked for you. CROWLER |
