Here you go guys some real good info here:

    Training 101

Take some time and search around this board. I am just finding out it is loaded with a TON of info from Prince and other people. It has been around since 2002 and there is probably 3 months of 24/7 reading right at our finger tips.

Im 19, so im not in that age boat JUST yet, but i have been struggling with my weight all my life (until recently).

Honestly, its not too difficult. You just need some willpower and desire to put forth the work needed. Avoid carbs later in the day, and keep track of your diet! Seriously, i recomend a food journal, at least for a week or so just so you can get a handle on what 2200 calories ACTUALLY is, and where its coming from.

HIIT (high intensity interval training) is probably one of the if not THE most effective ways to burn fat and lose weigh (aside from diet) and consists of short burts of high intensity cardio, like sprinting for say, 30 seconds, and then jogging/speed walking for 2-3 minutes, and then repeating it.

Also weight training is a must for fat loss, as not only does it increase metabolism from the workout itself, the more lean muscle you have, you more calories you burn being sedentary.

I lost about 50 lbs total since my peak weight of 250 in grade 11 (helluva way to spend highschool). That was 3 years ago, and i only this summer lost the extra 30 to get down to 205. It takes commitment to lose a gut, especially if you are in good shape and its only a little bit. But, remember that you CAN do it, you WILL do it, and itl be well worth it afterwards! goodluclk
