At least they don't look like / / -_ - / /

Seriously though, close stance squats should hit the outer quads. Same thing with leg extensions with toes pointed inwards.

Here we go

It looks like "turnip" thighs. You need lower quads to match the upper. Do you do full range of motion on your squats, leg presses, and hacks? People get this from doing half reps. Either way, do close stance, like T John said, with squats, hacks especially, and leg presses...and go all the way down!

I gotcha...and about your thighs...you're right, they are not bad at all. You just need better OVERALL development of the vastus medialis and vastus lateralis. Plus, you would have better shape if you were a little more defined.

Just use a full range of motion...use some variation in stances and angles, and work hard. They will improve!

Your legs are fine. Just keep doing whatever you're doing.

As for going all the way down, I started putting a decline bench behind me when squatting so that you have a benchmark to hit to get as LOW as possible. You can also adjust how far you go down this way, whether to parallel or beyond. DP recommended it to me and it's worked great. Plus you get some looks from people when you're lowering the bar a couple of feet and everyone else brings it down six inches.

Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

Just work them, your legs are not big enough to worry about specific quad muscle development. Keep on doing squats, presses, etc. they will grow.
