Leg Workouts
BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com Hi, ive recently been doing squats, stiff leg deadlifts and calf raises at 5 x 5.
Since i couldnt seem to get my form right on the deadlift i have had to have a little shuffle. I was advised to do squats, lying leg curl, leg extensions and calf raises. But, i really have problems with the leg extensions. I have really long legs and just cant do them. It just isnt comforatable etc. Would something like this be good ? Squats, leg press, DB lunges, calf raises ? Does that hit all areas of the leg sufficiently ? Im looking for some size and strength. |

those are pretty much all quad dominant exercises. although your glutes/hams are used SOMEWHAT, I would say it's not direct enough. try throwing in hyperextensions for a glute/ham movement.
but why can't you get form down on deadlifts? drop the weight until you improve on your form. even try a different type of deadlift. work on flexibility if that might be a problem. |

Well there isnt anybody to show me how to do them for a start and i just couldnt master it. I just really couldnt feel it on my hams.
I do have tight hams but dont know what stretches to do and how often etc. Hyperextensions is more of a back exercise isnt it ? |

Try Romaian deadlifts. Like doing a straight leg deadlift, but bend the knees to take the strain. I started off with SDLS's, but found that by bending the knees slightly, takes the strain off.
