Red face Pushing Too Hard On Leg Day?!!

got a new question for you all!
haha, kinda personal, but whenever i did leg workouts before my back injury, i could never go to heavy because i would literally almost crap myself! especially on leg presses! I actually had to go running to the bathroom on more than one occassion to check my pants(or even sometimes wipe!!)!!! Its not that they were to heavy, just would push so hard that this would happen, it actually kept me from going heavy!!

I think that was part of the reason that i also neglected my legs as well...for fear of pooing all over myself!!

Now this is a serious question and im not being goofy here!! its kinda funny, but not at the same time!

has anyone else had this experience? or know why this was happening or how to stop it? I really want to start working a good leg routine when i recover from my next surgery!

Use your leg muscles to push the weight up, not your asshole muscles.

But seriously wouldn't proper form indicate that you should only use muscles necessary for the exercise? Work on isolating the legs. I know power lifters wear diapers for reeeeally heavy weights but I would think over time with practice you would be able to reduce that problem. Or go lighter and slow the tempo of your reps? Maybe some flex in your abs will reduce how well you're able to engage your bowels? Not sure how that would affect the likelihood of hernia's though. And I'm sure you make sure you're breathing and not holding it like you're trying to take a dump.Could try swinging by a power lifting forums and ask perhaps they would have better advice being specialized. Also I agree with Danzik, go to the bathroom a bit prior. Just my opinions.

And if all else fails you can get a botox injection in your ass.

Take a shit before you workout!

Do you shit at the same times everyday? If your shitting is sporadic(this is a great thread btw) maybe you aren't as regular as you should be.

Just be concious of where you are applying force through the valsalva maneuver, keep it in the abs!...not the rectum!

Have you ever actually shit yourself? Maybe you just have a loose o-ring.

yeah, ive squirted a lil before!! haha, i can't believe im sayn this shit!
just enough to wipe you know! very annoying!

on a serious note again, I have had loose stools also, and sometimes the browns are play'n in the superbowl quite a few times a day!!...that has gone on for about 3-4 years now, and im wondering if i picked something up in the jungle in the phillipines(cause i got really sick there once and was shitting blood) or if i picked up something in Iraq(some dysntary or some shit)? I sent a stool sample to the doc's to check it out, but the assholes havn't gotten back to me yet. If it comes up that i do have some parrasite or bacteria or sickness or something, i wonder if that is wats causing me to almost crap myself everytime i push real hard on legs?

Maybe i need to find some rectum exercises and strengthen that muscle up
    huh??!!

this is kinda gross! wat have i done?!
