What are some good exercises for working lower back besides deadlifts?
I have heard of good mornings, and when i tried them my back hurt the next day, not like soreness but like i hurt my spine. Plus my gym does not have a hyperextension bench. Any tips? If anyone knows the proper technique for good mornings. please post it. Thanks |

Stick with Romanian Deadlifts, Deadlifts, and Straight Legged Deadlifts.
I would not do Good Mornings at all until you really know what you're doing, any even so you don't need to be doing them with anything more than the bar at this point. You REALLY don't want to compromise your lower back. |
