    Ketlle bells.

    Why cant you just use dumbells for kettlebell excercises? Arent they like practically the same?

    Yes, they are. Sometimes kettleballs are easier to hold, like during kettleball swings or kettleball snatches. They also have a slightly different center of gravity and their volume is distributed differently. This means you could get a greater ROM in, say, kettleball bench presses or kettlebell rows.
