Usually after a good leg session I feel like I cant walk the next day. The problem now is that im starting a basketball tournement and I am unable to perform to a high level if my legs feel like they been hit by a train. Should I stop squating while the season or should I just cut back on the intensety that I hit my legs on my squat sessions?

same goes for upperbody I guess? sometimes Im unable to guard another player with physical defense because of how sore my chest or shoulders are, also my shot changes when my triceps are sore. I guess weight training should be secondary while I finish this little basketball season.
Im playing 2-3 times (full court games)a week, practicing twice a week. The season is 20 games long.

Generally during season, weight training is used only to maintain rather than pushing forward. Keep the intensity low, use the weight room as a sort of active recovery from the games and not the other way around. Its the preseason where you make headway so that you're in better condition for the next season.
