I went and played a couple of games today and felt like I needed a respirator. All this lifting and no cardio did not help at all. I have made it a new goal to be in as good of shape as I was when I played High school basketball 4 years ago. Even during the offseason back then, I usually stayed in pretty good shape but it doesn't come as easy anymore. Too much work and less physical activity. Before I ask my question keep in mind that I am still very fast, I just can't keep that up for very long anymore. I am currently cutting and have 1-2 sessions of HIIT planned throughout the workout week. Would I be better of doing longer distance cardio in order to build endurance or will HIIT suffice. I remember the workouts we did back in HS and I just don't have the time for a lot of that stuff anymore. I lift three days a week and plan on doing cardio two days a week. I felt like hell today because I am young (22) and I don't want some of the older guys to think I am out of shape so I push myself to the point of dying lol
