You'll need extra dumbells that can hold more weight sooner or later, but those are great for now.

I have these in my house.
Ironmaster :: Quick-Lock Dumbells :: Quick-Lock Dumbell System (75 lb set with Rack) I like them a lot. I feel they are the most bang for your buck when it comes to adjustable dumbbells. All metal design no plastic to break. 5-75 lbs each with the option to go to 120 for a few bucks more. |

I will provide a link to the cheapest sets that can get you to 75 lbs pairs and it is way more that what I got and takes up way more space. CAP Hexagon Contour Handle Dumbbells Please provide a link for this $2-300 set. I feel ripped off paying 450 to get a set of dumbbells that go from 5-75 lbs. |

Ah I see our difference! you're talking about a set of dumbells - 1 pair at 5lbs 1 pair at 10lbs etc right? I was talking about a simple set of 1" bars with twist locking at 1" plates that you slot on like the ones DOMS recommended above - sorry!

NP on the differance. I figured we wern't talking about the same thing.
However the ones DOM showed are the cheapests, but I have never felt that safe with them. I guess that is why I have a set of them under my bed. |

Actualy looking back at the ones DOMS posted with the twist on nut would be safe. I have the ones that DoubleBase has with the collars that have the bolt that cranks down on the bar to hold the weight on. Those are the ones that scared me. The bars are stout it is just the collar that I had an issue with.
