Ive been messing around with a vertical horizontal type split for a few days and I think its vary effective. Does any one know where I can find a web site or book with a list of what movements would be considered vertical or horizontal?

There are hybrids like diagonal movements. Other movements like dips really only have a tag to have a tag. This gets to the whole movements VS bodyparts discussion, which is kind of 'nonsensical' if you ask me. IE dips are a vertical (or perhaps diagonal) push movement, but pull-ups aren't their counterpart, so you still need to look at the bodyparts in the end.

Post up the exercises in question, so we can help you out.

You are most welcome! It's a great way to train. I wrote that split up for myself and my friends. Let me know how you like it!

Do you still train with this your self? I first saw this split in Nads journal and thought it was cool. Ill be posting it in my journal, your input would be appreciated.

I cycle through a few workouts through the year. This is my standby. The other stuff I do are variations on this theme.
