Hi Everyone !

I just completed my sixth 'serious' workout back after ~12 years off. I've been doing a twice weekly whole-body routine comprising of compound exercises at the moment.

I stood on the scales last night and couldn't believe it ! (So I got off and on again a few times to make sure):

BW six workouts ago: 63.4 Kg

BW Last Night: 67.5 Kg

I can already see the positive changes in my bod !

Is muscle memory over this kind of time span real ? (if its real at all ?) only seen anecdotal evidence for this.

I'm def doing something right !

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys

I'm kind of dumbstruck at my rate of gain - like an almost too good to be true feeling - thats why I was curious about 'muscle memory'.

BTW what do you guys think about utilising static holds ? are they truly as effective as I have been reading ? I was thinking about trying them out as a substitute to training to momentary muscular failure when I am doing a HIT session (I'm cycling the intensity of my workouts at present). Anybody had positive experience with this type of training ?
