    Lose fat %

    I want to lose some fat before I gotta start up with waterpolo again, and I read about HIIT, but when I searched it on the website, I got to a thread saying it was all lies. Should I do HIIT, and do you have any advice on how to get started and if it is okay to do HIIT on a treadmill?
    16yr old. 205 pound. 5'8. Just here to learn
    bench press 225x6 / Deadlift 185x10 / Squat 205x10
    I know, my lift weights are disproportional..

    It is indeed fine to do HIIT on a treadmill. I do it on two treadies, side by side, and I've got a few different ways to do it.

    Meanwhile, how's your diet? 'Cause you ain't gonna cut unless you drop some calories.

    Can I follow the program that this site gives: Muscle Media

    The only thing it left out that you mentioned was warm up and some steady cardio at the end.

    All of those are the same length of time, right?

    You could do it, but you may prefer to vary the sprint durations. I'd strongly recommend the dynamic warmup and at least a five-minute walk to cool down at the end, whichever way you choose.
