wow my workout sucked today

    wow my workout sucked today

    alright i was chilling at my boyz crib in bedsty this weekend and we just chilled the whole weekend and drank and shit and i got like 3 hrs of sleep on fri and sat night. today i slept liek 16 hrs and wen i woke up i went lifting. it waas back and chest day. so i startd with bench, DB bench, then dips. halfway throught my dip set i just felt light headed and shit. do you think it was because of the drinking and lack of sleep? if so do you think if i sleep good today and tomorrow i can lift again weds? and weds is leg day so should i just chill today and not do chest and back again until next monday? or should i try again 2morrow?

    yes it is most likely due to what you did on the weekend. no you shouldn't try it tomorrow because the day after that is legs day. your body needs to rest, take off tomorrow and get a good night sleep tonight to let your body recover as much as possible and get back at it leg day.(wednesday)

    HAHA boozing and partying aren't condusive to weight lifting.. trust me I've battled that good fight for awhile!

    it finally came down to what i enjoy more...getting shit canned or getting stronger, getting bigger and healthier, and winning on the platform.

    you can still kick it from time to time but if you're priority is in what you do in the gym.. that kinda stuff won't do you much good. HOWEVER.. it's good to throw in a lil relaxation from time to time to prevent burning out and to just give you a break. Just don't make it habit.
