Angry Leg cramps

When im running (cardio), my calves cramp up like a bitch in the front and the outside...

I warm up for a while, i streth, walk around, then get on, i start slow, try and work into a jog, walk 2 min, jog 1, etc.

but i cant , my legs cramp up so bad. I just tried running now and i had to stop, the pain was insane.

is there a way to stop it?...

Muscle cramps are usully caused by dehydration and electrolyte imbalances. When you don't have enough fluid in your system, it leads to an electrolyte imbalance that causes your muscles to cramp up. Electrolytes are minerals such as sodium, magnesium, calcium and potassium

I had this problem when I first started. Try running on your heels (i.e. you land on your heels). Helped me a lot! Before that, I just ran through the pain and I guess I just gradually went to heel running heh
