There is a myth among athletes that having sex the night before a game lowers testosterone. But in fact it has been proven that sex has no inverse effect on test levels. If this is what you are referring to?

What way would it affect it?

    If you are implying negative...

Every physical and chemical process in the body affects everything else in some way. These are minor factors that are ridiculous to include in how you live your life.

If you are saying positive, probably!

Sex right before or after will negatively affect your performance and recovery, of course.

I've had sex 20min before a workout and noticed no adverse effects though, so fuck away.

Sex just after a workout is awesome. The blood is flowing, and you're all worked up anyways. Just makes sense.

    Allll riiiight.

depends on what you call sex!! If a little "weak ass hump" that most guys do for ten minutes....then probably not.

However, I would say that its the actual ejaculation and losing of your "seed" that effects you. I'm a seminal retention guy. I feel better when I don't bust all the time and can go all day long with no refractory period and orgasms that make you ready for death! Somewhat of a tantric ideal at times. This is a very very well researched area. You should check into it, and look up the auther Mantak Chia and or Seminal Retention. Its not for most usual male personalities however.

Of course, an hour long romp will affect you regardless.
Plus, how you feel probably depends on you, your age, and other factors.

I would say just wait, but if you cant help it, then its not gonna kill, especially if you dont get that much to begin with. Ha!
