    to build bulky muscles
Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them: A desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.

well if you want to get big bulky muscles id have to say id reverse what NickB said... id work hard on your muscles and then diet and cardio to see a finished cut result.... while your working on your muscles you will slim down quite a bit being (im assuming) new to weight lifting

5'11 250 at 14 = a bigboy... which is why i recommended the cardio and diet, then bulk up.

Thats barely an inch taller than me, and over 70 pounds more.

Thats highly obese... Im just talking from a health standpoint.

Of course, what do i know. Im still a noob.

i also am talking from a health standpoint.... if hes a obese then he probably wont want to or be able to partake in strenuous cardio vascular activities... weight lifting will help him lose fat pretty quickly as well as help him grow muscle and at the same time prepare him for the cadio he will start when he wants to unveil those muscles he has worked on... however i agree he should do some sort of cardiovascular activity such as sports with friends...

really at this point if hes obese than really he should diet first before everything to lose some weight and THEN go to weight lifting once hes at 199lbs or a comfortable weight and cut after hes built muscle...

Whats your Body fat like Deisel? If it is high, does obesety run in the family?
I would start by addressing your diet first, visit the nutrition section.
As for a routine, at your age keep the weight a bit lighter and work on your form.

    What are you doing now?

once you get your form down dont hesitate to go heavy ... dont have an ego trip though... dont put on more than you can handle... if you have doubts dont do it or do it with a spotter because already your subconcious will be working against you

I have a old friend like that, he told me one day that he was 275lb and I said bullshit cause he looked like he might have been just over 200-220. So I got him on a scale and sure enough he was right. He wasn't even muscular, just solid and shaped like a brick. Lucky bastard.

I would do a two day upper body and a one day lower body, take the day off after legs.

    So something like
    Monday: Chest/shoulders/tri's
    Wedneday: Legs/abs
    Friday: Back/bi's

What kind of exercises are you doing now, reps and sets?
    Cool

what workouts do you do 6 sets of 15 for? what kindof weight are you using? i think you should increase the weight and go for 8 reps the last rep being hard as hell to get..... give us a more detailed post of your workout routine (weight, reps, sets, exercises etc.) so that we can give you a little more help... use the split scotty provided... it includes back workouts which you need...

You dont need to work your abs to get abs. When you lose bodyfat they will apear out from under the exess fat.

Trizzle=Your signature should say: go hard or go home, cause you think everyone should go hard. LOL. You hard ass you.

Deisel, these guys are right you need to be very specific when explaining your daily routines. We can not help you other wise. PS there is a spell check on here now, to help you out. Plus if you think a weight is too light for you, then raise the weights. You should always be straining for at least your last two reps. Plus a 3 month routine is too long, you need to re work your routine and exercises to stress your body out more.

well im not really sure what else you do but ill give you one of my routines and you can change stuff based on your personal abilities and what equipment you have...

    Monday- Chest/ Tri/ SHoulders.. chest=flat +decline/incline/both flyes... triceps=kickbacks, skull crushers, closearm benchpress
shoulders- military press.. flyes... upright pulls
all of these do 2 or 3 sets fheavy weight last rep failure(or as close as you can get to failure without killin urself)

Tuesday- i dont do it but cardio and abs i guess

wednesday- legs... legpress,(one leg, 2 legs wide stance, narrow stance,)switch it up... squats, lunges, deadlifts, leg extension, leg curl, i dont recommend doing that all pick a few but make sure deadlift or squat is always on there

thurdsay- rest watch tv, o yeah cardio and abs

friday- Back /Biceps/ Forearms-- bent over rows, good mornings, stiff legged deadlifts(itll get ur legs too but thats ok) you can do a military press on back day too maybe wider grip... pullups...

saturday- mowe the grass, chores, abs maybe, cardio

sunday.. sit at home and chill, watch football

J'Bo is far from a man by the way..

o yeah and go hard or go home
