    Hi there

I might be able to help a bit.

How tall is she and what does she weigh?

Can you tell me how she currently trains and what her diet is like? Please be as detailed as possible with both, and I need to know the macros she's running (total calories, grams protein, carb and fat).

Do More Cardio and Less Heavy Lifting

I would recommend staying away from heavy weight lifting and do more cardio. That would keep the legs nice and slim but not add to the muscle bulk.

You're right. I just make these things overly complicated. She just needs to take up jogging - after all, I've NEVER seen an overweight jogger...

Cmon Built, everybody knows that even looking at a weight will make a woman synthesize muscle mass like Bruce Banner turning into the hulk.

Its common knowledge that all women needs to do to get the figure of their dreams is walk on a treadmill slower than they walked through the parking lot to get to the treadmill.

    Very true....anorexic bunch they are.

On the other hand, I would highly recommend that she never set foot on an elipticle or treadmill, because I only see gi-normous people on those things....I would fear that her arse might outgrow her already muscular legs.

Wow, I didn't know this was such a sensitive topic. I merely pointed out my experience. Please try different methods and see what works for you best.

Facts are a very sensitive topic here. This is a no bullshit atmosphere. If your facts aren't in order, you will be called out on it. Don't take it personally. Other than that we have a blast.

    fixed.

I think the main problem with the suggestion of using cardio alone is the loss of muscle. And honestly, contrary to what we have heard, read, and been told, heavy lifts will not turn one into a big ol' Bubba Redneck....bad diet does that.

In this case, I vote for proper diet and HIIT.

Better yet, how about doing some reading and then trying the ones that work when tested?
Sure saves a ton of time.

I have yet to meet a woman who had heavy legs and cardiod them off. When I tried this approach, my legs just got fatter.

I now realize why of course, but it was maddening while it was happening.

    I wrote about it here:

Exactly what i've told my girlfriend, and now shes on the sprints and loving it.

She does some weights, but because she plays Violin as a massive part of her life, tendonitis is a bane already without adding to joint stress.

Its a shame really because i think she'd see faster results if she could do more resistence training, but she tried progressing with it and her elbows flared up like nobody's business

She ran a 5k not so long ago though, so im really proud of her theres my gloat for the day, lol.
