    Just a quick question

Im trying to lower bodyfat and currently this is what I understand I should be doing...without losing much or any muscle

    -Create a calorie deficit
    -Increase Protein intake significantly
    -Lift Heavy (6-8 rep range)?

Just wondering if those are the things i should be doing...

Though i dont understand, if i create a caloric deficit how am I suppose to maintain to a good extent my muscle mass?

You have to get on a cutting diet, and take in lots of protein as well , and take creatine too , if your diet is on point you shoulden't have a problem loosing fat and not muscle also aim to loose 1-3 pounds a week no more than that.

right I assume that creating a calorie deficit meant a cutting diet.

    Right track

In general it sounds like you are on the right track... make sure when cutting that you are taking in protein often throughout the entire day. Your diet will have more effect than the training, so the lifting in the 6-8 rep range, although good, would be a mute point as long as you aren't going to extremes. As long as you are not overtraining, using proper form, bustin *ss in the 6-15 rep range should work great.

    Good luck....
