    Angry Low back injury

Had 3 disk fusion in 2002 S-1 to L-3 was on a cane for 3 years and muscle wasting to right leg. After wt training for a year I am off the cane both legs look the same now. Do a lot of core work can't do twisting movements with out pain was getting ready to do a bodybulding show in oct now the doc says the next disk up T-1 is blown. It is pissing me off that my body is falling when I was so close. Need to kept working out without making myself worse I will not do surgery again 1 time was enough. Anyone out there been though this or have ideals on how to train around this injury. My surgeon wants me to stop but then he just wants to cut no thank you. I feel I can get better with training I did it before so way not now.

what are your signs and symptoms right now? And what do you mean by "the next disk up, T-1, is blown out.? T-1 is not anywhere in the neighborhood of L3-S1. And, if I may ask....how did you herinate T1?

    Low Back Injury

Burning Pain down the outside of the right leg to the knee. Sharp pain in the low back. The docs think it is L-5 bulging.

Go to a chiropractor. I had same pain all the way down to my foot and down entire leg. It was pinched sciatic nerve. Steriod shot took car of it. No surgury. Any back problems I go to chiropractor, not doctor. I have lwer back problems but never had surgury.

Don't train around an injury, get it fixed and then take your physical therapist's advice.

yup, I agree with others....seek out some medical care right now and see what sort of noninvasive options are open to you before considering surgery. back surgery doesn't have a great percentage of success.
