    joint pain

I have been feeling joint pain on my right these past several days. i wasnt lifting any weights or anything but I was at sleepaway camp for a week and I have a feeling it was the way I slept on those beds. Thankfully I can still shoulder press the same, I think that I have even increased a rep.

Any help...? stretching or doing some of the joint exercises I know didnt work so I guess the only solution would be resting right?

Do you do regular and comprehensive warmups/warmdowns? Ballistic stretching for warmup and static stretching for warmdowns? Cowpimp's thread on the subject is great for putting those things together.

Do you take any joint supps like fish oil? glucosamine sulphate? chondroitin?

Well I didnt think I needed to considering I was at a sleepaway camp for a whole week without too many exercises. Most of the time when I would wake up I would have this pain in my right shoulder. Ive been stretching alot though to help relieve it.

And actually I have just recently started taking fish oil caps. Im 17 right now and my parents are too overprotective which has brung me down to taking only 4 caps a day. I used to take 10 daily to get the 3 grams of omega 3 recommended.

I've had the same problem when I sleep on a harder bed than I like after pushing my rotator cuff beyond it's limits. I like to sleep on my side. With rotator cuff problems it can be very uncomfortable on hard surface in my experience.

Yep, nothing like a competent "massage" therapist working on your soft tissue. Takes your mind off of joint pain, anyway.
