    Home Workout Equipment

I'm looking to purchase some decent home workout equipment. I would like the price to be around $500 for everything, but I can go up to $1000 if needed. I'm 18, male, weigh about 160 lbs and am 6 feet tall. I'm mainly looking to tone up and get more defined muscles because right now I am basically skinny and flabby. What do you all suggest I buy so I can get a decent full body workout? Of course I'll be changing my diet etc., but that is for an entirely different thread . BTW, the gym is not a possibility because I currently do not have a car.

P.S. I'm new to this forum and have been reading a lot of posts that have been really inspiring! It's amazing that such a great community like this is out there.

well get a good incline/flat bench......and lat machine. you should be able to get both for that. and free weights.

as for yer training, train for mass. at yer weight and height...ya cant be too fat...and to get defined, you need to loose weight. but i cant see ya doin that with yer hgt/wht. like i said, any muscle ya produce will give more definition. i dont believe in training for definition. the more muscle ya have the more definied you look. do heavy basics and you'll see the physic you want.

If I was buying again, a flat/incline/decline bench and a squat rack with a pullup bar would be a bare min.
I would get an olympic bb set and some adjustable DB.
    Its about all you need.
    Cool
