crackerjack414, I agree with you about morning cardio, I think anyone going this route should consider H.I.T. type cardio over long drawn out periods of cardio.
I think diet should be used to reduce body fat, cardio should be used to keep your body in shape.
    Cool

I agrea with you about h.i.t. training to a point. The most important thing in any exercise/ nutrition program is variation. I alternate between hit style cardio and duration cardio. An example would be
cardio day one hit 20- 30 mins of Hit interval training
cardio day 2 40- 50 mins gentle running ( you should still be able to talk while running).
then Hit again I like to vary hit training from hills, tradmills, biking, stairs and sprints.
The best advice i think any one can give is everything in moderation and nothing in excess

If your main goal is just to loose weight through doing cardio, then i don't think variation is going to make a difference. Its not the same as building muscle.
Sure, it keeps you from getting board but as long as your heartrate is going up, thats all that counts no matter what your doing.

If your gonna do it, no more than 3 times a week, I would use H.I.T. cardio if your doing the empty stomic thing for no more than 20 - 25 min.
