There's plenty of great routines for biceps - rows, chins..etc. By not doing any or only a little isolation work as needed you are avoiding overtraining your arms and you'll make better overall gains.

Sperm is fantastic for gains. I always eat mine.

This question is a contradiction in terms, as a dedicated bicep routine/workout/day is an awful idea for stimulating growth.

i'm still trying to adjust to this idea... why is this? are the arms easily over trained thus slowing growth?

My arms are bigger than the average joes and I hit my triceps for about 10 sets per week and my biceps about 5 sets per week.

Not that that means anything, but people always ask me what I do for my biceps and triceps and for the most part, I don't do anything besides compound movements.

Sure I could do a 16 set day on its own of just arms, but how can you honestly call 16-20 sets of bicep and tricep work a workout?

Its just a waste of time training arms directly. They are incredibly small muscles, and really dont require their own dedicated portion of a workout program.

Some people do 4 exercises for arms, and only 2 for legs. Where is the logic in that? The legs are the biggest muscles in the body yet are getting less focus than arms?

You use your arms in every single upper body movement, they'll grow because of this. What little "extra" growth you get from 1 set or 10 sets of curls or whatever will be negligible for the amount of time you spend doing them.

I didn't train arms directly for like 18 months and nothing changed except my elbows didn't hurt so much. I only do a few sets here and there now for variety really.

Your arms will benefit more from increased rest, and work though the use of compound movements which will result in more growth anyway because they are bigger movements.

And like Sox said - a whole session of arms is not a workout. Its an abomination against proper form most of the time.
