    Critique My Deadlift Form

Warning: Video looks like shit my friend took it with my phone's camera. Just imagine going back to the nintendo games to ease the pain on the eyes.

Anyways, This is what I work out with, 270 lbs + barbell. That is; 3 45's one each side even though it looks like two, the middle 45 was larger than the ones left and right of it.

Please, any tips or suggestions are welcomed.

It should be a fluid movement. Youre picking the weight up, straightening your legs then backing it up. It should be a drive through the hips. Keep your legs bent and chest out a little longer and roll straight up.

That is better explained.. 1 Step not 2 and it's called a deadlift because you have to let it sit on the floor without using the momentum from the first rep

Hmm, I don't get it, not quite I think. Can you show me a video of a perfect or near perfect deadlift technique?

that is me about a year or two ago. it's not perfect but it may help you better understand.. keep your head straight and concentrate on something. one movement and pause when you touch the ground so the weight is dead. if you need to take some weight off until it gets better

Damn it! Ill try to upload another video later on.

One thing I do see is that I "bump" my ass outwards and yeah I can see that I am doing the leg straightening in a one two motion.

How exactly should I stop this from happening?

Just pull straight up 1 motion. The bar might even scrap your shin/knees sometimes it happens lol
