    Question The Replacements

    hello,
I plan to begin HST on monday however i need to replace a few exercises due to lack of equipment (place to do weighted dips for chest, squat rack, chinup bar) so i need anyones assistance on replacements for squats, chinups, and weighted dips... are hack squats effective? are there any other exercises i can add in to replace the chinup and weighted dips? do i need multiple exercises for make up for these if so what are they?
    any help is greatly appreciated
    thanks
    -Trey

You can do dips by taking to chairs, weighing them down with plates, and then putting a DB between your feet when you dip.

do squats without weights 20 reps at a time, just stick your arms out parrellel with the ground...sounds really easy...but do 20 jumps (go from croched position with palms flat on floor to palms flat on the ceiling just above your head), do that 3 times and you'll be fucked.

replacements for squats, chinups, and weighted dips...
Seriously, you might get slapped if you said this to me in person. LOL LOL

    Best replacements, IMO:

Squats- Hack or Smith Machine Squats
Chinups- Lat Pulldown and Cable or Bent Rows (watch your form!)
Weight Dips- Flat and Incline Bench Press (DB and/or Bar)

    That being said-

Those that have access to the following exercises- USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! I've seen really good results training people on these exercises alone. Myself included.

Squats should be the backbone of every lower body workout, just as Chins and Dips should carry the brunt of your upper body workout! I cannot stress this enough.
