TRX training?

Is this thing really any good or is it just some overhyped not effective P.O.S? It looks like it could give my core a really solid workout, but I am no expert. What do you all think?

Never heard of it. But if youre thinking about buying something to get a core workout you need to do some reading first before you waste your money on other gimmicky shit. take that money and spend it on some food or whey.

TRX straps are awesome for body weight rows and push up variations. I use them a bunch for stuff like that.

but, they are part of a workout - not a whole workout themself.

My sister-in-law just introduced me to the TRX system. She's been using them for about a year, and she looks terrific. You can hook them up to a door and use them when you're away from the gym, or use them IN the gym.

You might get a few weird looks, but just ask the 'looker' to try it. They won't be questioning the effectiveness of this simple-looking system anymore.

I hang the bands from the ceiling in my garage so that the handles are about 6" off the floor, then do regular pushups. Wow! They'll kick your tail, while getting at all those little stabilizing muscles. You'll really feel the difference!

I used to do alot of mt climbing, and had miles of webbing lying about, so I made my own. Use pvc for handles, carabiners, etc.

The ads about incorporating your core are correct. If done correctly, there isn't an exercise you do that doesn't work your core.

Get with the program.
