    detailed upper chest

whats the best exercises to get your upper chest ripped in the center? ive been doing alot of pullovers with dumbbells and feel the burn right in the center of my upperchest, ive seen quick noticeable results since doing it, but i dont have any other exercise that targets that specific area.

You cant target a single area for spot reduction of fat. The details will appear when your bodyfat % is low enough.

Heavy dumbell benching (incline and flat bench)with good form and lowering your body fat should be the key to success.

Just throwing it out there, if this DOES degenerate into another pissfest about whether or not you can target the upper/lower chest separately i will close the thread.

i didnt mean cut up in that sense. i guess i meant bulking up the upper chest, specifically the very top part and having that overall square shape around each pectoral. i do understand genetics and diet plays alot.

to build the upper upper part of the chest, do push-up's, bench press, just do all the exercise's that work out your chest and eventually you'll start seeing them develop along with the rest of your chest

as you can see here, the chest muscle is one muscle its kind of like asking can you make the end's of your bicept bigger without making the center bigger, its all one muscle. =\

For a peace of mind, yeah, but theres no true reason as to why it would render results given the anatomy of people.

Personally, I havent done decline bench regularly in years and my lower chest is just as big if not bigger than when declines were a staple.

You don't sound stupid because you're actually checking to see if this is correct.

No, you don't focus on the lower part with declines or the upper with inclines. Flat, incline or decline all work tris, pec and anterior delt to varying degrees. Decline is more tri, incline is more delt.
