    Anterior Deltoid exercise

    Hi Guys,
I'm after the correct name of the exercise where you have a dumbbell in a hand and raise
your arm in front of you with your elbow straight, up to shoulder height, and down again.

Like a lateral arm raise, but in front of you.
    It works your anterior deltiod.

I want to use it in an aqua class without the dumbbell for assessment.
    Cheers, B.
    If not actually, then potentially.

I've always just called them front deltoid dumbell raises, or simply "front raises."

I'm sre you'll get a dozen different choices.

I call them front raises too. I've never heard anyone use a different name for them.

front raises... used to do them but don't see much point anymore... your front delts get hit plenty hard on any chest press and vertical press...

Sounds like he is going to use it to teach a water excersize class or something. Maybe phys therapy.

Replaced this one for lateral side raises anyway, and passed the assessment
I wanted to name each exercise, and name target muscles for the benefit of the class.
