    calorie reduction

im reducing my calorie intake, trying to lose body fat. should i change from heavy weights to lighter weights for a more aerobic workout, or is it ok to continue heavy? and is better to bulk then cut up or vice versa?

you want to maintain as much strength as possible when you cut, so lifting heavy weights is what you'll be looking for.

Yep. Low reps and heavy, keep the iron on the bar.

I found that heavy or intense workouts are less of a problem than mammoth volume sessions while on a cut.

I wouldn't say you have to drop any weights, maybe just try to incorporate in some cardio.

Whatever you do, do NOT try and maintain the same level of intensity after cutting calories. I learned that the hard way.

I would drop the reps and up the weight.

No, up protein and fats, while lowering carbs(refeed every 5 days or whenever neccessary). Run about a 20% deficit from maint. cals. And keep lifting heavy, doing compound moves. It isnt that complicated really.
