    Cardio & Weight Training?

    Hi guys,
me new to this forum and also to weight training too, I had been doing cardio excercises for some time, tough had to give a little gap of month becoz of illness, now my body has gone again to where i had began.

My question is that can i train my body to do Weigth training at gym in morning and do Cardio excercisces at night?

Wouldnt i be overtraining myself if i do? becoz i normally give gym 2 hours and cardio 1 hour?

i would be thankful to be replied........

Gym 2 hours? why? and anyway I do both weights in the morning and cardio/conditioning at night, and I dont feel over trained in fact I feel great! But with 2 hours of the gym maybe? Being in the gym 2 hours is kinda excessive just my opinion though

What kind of illness did you have? Please don't say something that could be related to working out three hours a day because thats ridiculous unless youre training for the olympics, with the related nutritional support.

if you are coming back from an illness you need to start of very slow and work back into it, allowing your body ample time to recover from training.
