    My legs hurt!

My legs are aching from all the running and lunges I did on Friday. So, heres my question. Should I continue exercising, do less of my routine or just rest?

That sounds like it's just Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS). That happens naturally after intense workouts. I usually get it about a day to day and a half after my leg workouts. It is usually just a sign that your body is repairing some muscle tissue and can last for a day or two.

I do a lot of cardio as well as lifting. I think if you keep up your cardio, which should increase circulation, you will most likely cut your recovery time down. In other words, I would do the routine and work through the pain. I also eat a lot of protien and consume a lot of amino acids, I find the BCAA's (Branched Chain Amino Acids) and Beta Alanine have helped me almost completely get rid of my DOMS.

    I try to run 10-12 miles/week - 2-3 miles at a time, 13-19 minutes respectfully.

    Hope all this helped.

you should domore stretching and more massaging of the legs before. I find that when this is done ;you have more elasticiity and movement as well as power that you normally wouldn't have.
