    Getting a wider chest

So i've been trying several methods to expand my chest but nothing seems to work. I'm not sure if it's my form or the exercises just don't cut it but the only gains i see are in my upper and middle pecs. I really need to know how i can get my outside and lower pecs more developed.

    Keep eating.

    Bench heavy.

like built said, eat, and lift heavy. the muscle grows as a whole, so you will just need to get bigger overall

if you're still a teen dumbbell flyes and pullovers can help expand the rib cage.

WIDER chest??? Hmmmmm.........................get in the cable rack where you do cable crossovers, load the full stack on each side, grab the grips and let them stretch you arms as far apart as possible, as you're hanging there have friends pile more weight on each stack. Give it a try and let me know how it works out, I've never had the guts to try it myself.

Okay, enough with the wise cracks, do what Prince said. There have been some modern pros that poo-poo the dumbell pullovers, but I figure if they were good enough for the likes of Arnold, Franco Columbo, Sergio Oliva and Nasser El Sonbatty then they're good enough for us mortals.

middle pecs are your lower pecs there are only 2 thats why i dont understand people do flat than decline and think they're working diff. pecs, they're the same pecs, could be genetics your problem, but more your form and diet, change your reps around too, try doing 4 reps or 20, and changing exercise. prince the lats are what expands the rib cage the lats are also attached to the abdominales talk about a big muscle

just because there are only 2 muscles does not mean flat and decline do not yield different results, they hit the muscles differently and hit different secondary muscles, both are usefull in my opinion
