    i need help with this one, sur

    On tuesday I had to have a tooth pulled (kind ofl of the sudden) I w*nted to know if you all thuink its ok for ne to get back in the gym today?? I missed upper push on tues and cardio yesterday, I feel like I'm gonna turn to mush! Lol any advice?

    If it's been 3 days, and you are not taking any pain-killers, than working out should be fine as long as you don't go full balls out.

    if they put you to sleep, you should lower down on the weights... when i had a tooth pulled last time i was drowsy for hours...

    You may not want to. Call the ortho or dentist and ask them. Sometimes they don't want you straining because of the increase in blood pressure can interfere with the clotting. I know this was the case when I hear of people having wisdom teeth removed, including mine and my girlfriends. I'd at least take it easier for a few more days. I see in the other post you mention blowing the clot which is what I'm referring to. We arent doctors, you should ask them for your time frame.

    The only problem I would see is if you are on pain meds or the increase blood pressure due to exercise would cause your gum to bleed.

    Usually the doctor would tell you to take it easy and keep your BP low if you needed to.

    If your not on medication, why not train, maybe you want to stay away from hit impact stuff like running on a tredmill. I`ve trained after having a tooth extracted, absolutely lights out!! GET BACK IN THE SADDLE AND TRAIN!!!!
