    2 Questions

    I have 2 n00bie questions () :

1.) For the people who use a Weight vest, would it be beneficial to wear one doing Deads/ Hack squats to add more weight (the weights at my house aren't that heavy) or should i do even slower reps to compensate for the weights?

2.) How often do you wash your vest? Do you guys wash it at all?
    I miss Danny81.

    1) why would you wear it during hack squats or deadlifts? that is just weird! lol

    2) if you are the only one wearing it, wash it once a week. if you have multiple people wearing it, wash it after every usage.

The exercises we mostly use it on:

    - inverted row
    - lunge
    - split squat
    - one leg squat (pistol squat)
    - bulgarian squat
    - stair mill
    - low intensity walking

I know, it's quite cumbersome, but my logic is (or was) that it would add difficulty on my Deads, i.e. When i'm bent over, the extra weight on my upper body makes it more challenging to rise and straighten out. I know it IS weird, but just trying to improvise.

Also, you didn't mention pushups on that list, i use my vest for that everyonce in awhile, is that weird too?

One other consideration is the vest can possibly contribute to you losing your balance, during a set. If you have chains in your gym, try putting them on the bar either over the middle of the bar, or on the extreme ends of the bar, which means you need to place an additional collar, at the end of the bar sleeve, to keep the chains on. Chains will give you an altogether different feel.
