Since you only perform one primanry and one complimentary range of motion lift per body group every six days it would seem as though the individual would be best served to incorporate compound lifts. On that not I would like to Open up the forum to the debate of which compound lifts are best suited for GVT. i will list the few I am thinking of incorporating, and would like to hear the suggestions of others, especially if you have utilized GVT in the past.
If you have followed the GVT program in the past and could give specific details about your program and your results, that would be most appreciated.
One specific question I would like to raise is whether upright rows would be better classified as back or shoulders. Where would one class these olypmics: hang clean press, power clean, Deadlift, jerk
Chest:
BB bench
DB Bench (Incline or Decline Sup.)
Back:
Bent BB Rows
T-bar Rows
Cable Rows
Wide Grip Pull-ups
Deadlift (should this go under legs, I would say definitely yes if it is stiff leg)
serratus pullovers
Shoulders:
Standing Military Press
Snatch
Lateral raises
Seated DB press
Triceps:
DIPS
OH press
skull crushers
Biceps;
EZ bar curls
Zottomans curls
Incline DB hammer curls
Reverse curls
