    Wink Rep Cadence

Hi guys! I,m new on this forum. And I hope to be helpful to everyone !

I have a question about the rhythm of reps in the set. How much time should I take for the positive and negative side? It doesn?t matter if it?s a HST or HIT or classic training (what?s your opinion, because I noticed that you base on scientifically data and not on opinions and this I like most about you). Some think it is better to train about 3 sec the positive side and other 3 sec the negative one, because in such a way you speed the time under tension on your muscles (TUT). And in this case you train better the fast twitch fibers, and you better stimulate the hypertrophy, because doing the set in 25- 30 sec is not sufficient for producing microtrauma. But I still am thinking what is for the best, to do the reps in a quickening way or do them slower (for a better hypertrophy). For me it is easier to increase the weight on the bar (from workout to workout to shock the muscle and make them grow) when I do the positive side in 1-2 sec and the negative one also in 1-2 sec, then in a slower rythm. What do you think? What?s the best variant?
Thank you very much guys !!!

    Good luck!!!

    Bye !

I believe the overall best variant for hypertrophy is variety.
Check the stickies for p/rr/s training.
