Question What do you think about?..

Circuits as opposed to just regular lifting?
I wanted to try them and I've never done it before.
    What do you think/any recomendations?

    Thanks in advance.

They are another tool in the tool box. Can be good for improving work capacity.

At our age and experience I think you'll find the general consensus is to just lift heavy with good form, have a simple balanced program and eat well.

I don't think you've shared your routine yet? People will be reluctant to hand out advice until they feel comfortable that you're not effing around and hurting yourself using your interpretation of the advice.

Not wanting to sound like a jerk, I'm just suggesting that you're keen but maybe just need to put that keenness into something more useful.

    Depends who's asking?
I took it a couple of times to see the short term effects, but I haven't done a complete cycle..yet.

    What does that mean?

It wont do anything if you take it a couple of times, but you will do yourself damage if you do a real cycle of this product.

    they're good for bulking

just make sure you have a high saturated fat diet and you'll grow like a beast! only high reps on the special high-fat diet; like 17-21 for bulking

That's why I said ALMOST. I want to start hitting the gym with Ben Dur, hopefully that will get me wanting to hit heavier weights.

Call me gullible, but I've seen the p90x workouts. They are pretty legit in my opinion, and I saw the results my friend got. Can't argue with results..

Anywho, I'm guessing so far everyone is leaning toward NO circuits?

    Moondogg,

It didn't mean anything. I tried it just to see how quickly I saw the results. It worked but for the amount of money I was spending on all the shit that has to go with it, it wasn't worth it..

B1 - if you dont already want to start lifting heavy then you're not in the right pass-time
B2 - the results that he would get even without the DVD aka lift heavy and eat right

To Moondogg; it was a bit of sarcasm old chap. No offense but you're like a grumpy old man even though you're 18. Lighten up mate!

I love how EVERY lifter is cocky as hell and refuses to believe someone elses routine could actually work? Crazyness right?

I'm just stating the facts, I was in better shape than Tod..then he got p90x and used it..then he was in better shape than me. There seems to be a common denominator here.

I do lift heavy weights, are you bad with grammar? It says HEAVIER(the -ier suffix means more) so I want to lift MORE weight.

I just know I'm going to get tagged for "spam". Someone will think I'm trying to promote p90.

Disclaimer: These are solid facts, and I am in no way trying to promote p90x or any of their affiliates.

Does that save me from a ban?

Guys, I think I see the problem here.

You are just looking for a fast track, or shortcut to getting big.

Well put your mind at rest right now.
I promise you, there's no quick and easy way.
Even with AAS/PH's you still need to have a solid base laid down to see good results.

So stop asking stupid questions and do this:
Set up program based around heavy compound lifts.
Eat well, plenty of protein, little/no junk food.
Get proper rest. ~8 hours of sleep

    That's all you need OuiSwim.

Seriously, when I was 17 all i wanted to do was find shortcuts but I promise you the more you put off doing it the right, hard way...the longer you will spin your wheels.

    Just do it.

Quiswim, if I may, Circuits are great for shedding weight. They're great if you want to begin to weight train, they're great if you're in between workout programs, man, they're just great.
Evander Holyfield used to circuit train to get himself in shape between fights.

Add this to your regimen to change things up, but don't do this longer than a couple of weeks, and then hit the weights hard!

Certainly not the majority of the members at this site who provide free quality advice that outside this forum you would have to pay them for.
