I dont know, I can tell you that my back does not respond well at all to machine work. Once I dropped that I improved pretty quickly doing 'free' movements.

After seeing for me big gains doing free movements, I am of the opinion machines suck for getting big. Of course it seems to work for some people, but for me, forget it.

yeh i understand completly but i want totry these because these 2 machines seem like a moderation between free weights and normal machines... not something for seasoned veterans but definatley for some one starting out or someone in the middle of the 2 extremes (beginner, veteran)... i dont know thats just my take on them .. i cant really say since ive never used them

I've never tried them either (and certainly not for extended periods), I've tried the rubber band stuff in Sears stores when they had them.

I can't say I've seen or heard of anyone using the stuff long periods, but I have a friend looking into getting one of these. Maybe they post "success stories" on thier site, or do they have any?
