    treadmill belt slipping?

alright well i just bought a treadmill its a pro-form 585 low profile, (the speed goes by kph???? lol) and well the belt keeps slipping when im running on it and wowwwwwwwww makes me feel like im going to fall like if i take to hard of a step it'll do it... what exactly causes this? i tried adjusting the tension a little bit on it but dident really work to well with that, does it need a new belt? or i heard something about them needing lubrication, i know the people i bought it from never have done that.. but wouldent that make it slip more?

anyone know the cause to why its slipping?

it looks like this one, except the belt is a little bit warped
